mOI Community Meet-Up

Join mOI Health's first community meet-up in Cambridge for a relaxed morning of complimentary drinks, connection and an honest conversation about joint and back pain.

We’ll be joined by Dr Anshuman Malaviya, Consultant Rheumatologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, for an informal talk and live Q&A.

- Saturday, 19 September 2026
- 10:00 am to 11:30 am

- Cambridge, venue to be confirmed
- Free to attend, registration required

Patients, carers, clinicians, researchers, students and anyone interested in autoimmune health are warmly invited.

Registration closes at 11:59 pm on Friday, 18 September 2026. If you need to change or cancel your registration, email events@moihealth.com.

The conversation

Musculoskeletal Pain: Is It All in My Head?

What happens when your pain is real, but blood tests, X-rays or MRI scans appear normal?

Dr Malaviya will explore how clinicians distinguish between inflammatory, mechanical and nerve-related pain, and why your symptoms, personal history and family history can be just as important as test results.

The conversation will also touch on fibromyalgia, enthesitis, hypermobility, psoriasis and gut inflammation.

There’ll be plenty of time to ask questions, meet others and connect with the community.

This session will provide general educational information. Dr Malaviya won’t be able to provide an individual diagnosis, assessment or treatment recommendation.
